Recognition Programs
Non Public Funds (NPF) honours the contribution our team members make towards accomplishing our mission; we know that going that extra mile is what allows us to excel at Serving Those Who Serve. In recognition of the special effort that many of you make, NPF provides means for you to recognize and be recognized through our Rewards and Recognition Program.
The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Distinguished Achievement Award: This award was created to recognize an individual from the Staff of the Non Public Funds, Canadian Forces, who has had a positive and substantial impact, directly or indirectly, on the Canadian Forces or the Canadian Forces Community.
The Chief Executive Officer's Award of Exceptional Merit: This award is presented to employees or teams who have clearly exceeded expectations in performing their duties and responsibilities, and by so doing, have contributed to the achievement of the mission, goals and objectives of NPF.
The Divisional Employee or Team of the Year Certificate of Merit: This award is presented annually to employees or teams in recognition of clearly outstanding service to their Division.
The Long Service Award: NPF acknowledges the long and dedicated service of full-time and part-time employees with a selection of mementos. All of your years of service count no matter if you have changed Divisions or status. Eligible employees receive a commemorative memento and a certificate, signed by the Chief of the Defence Staff, to recognize ten (10), fifteen (15), twenty-five (25), thirty-five (35), forty (45), and fifty (50) years of service.
The Retirement Award: Eligible retiring employees receive a certificate signed by the Chief Executive Officer.
